GENERAL GRANT INFORMATION

The DBL grant process begins in early August and concludes in mid-November with award notifications.  Grants are given only during this process and time-frame.  

Complete information for the 2012-2013 DBL fiscal year will be posted in August.

 The steps to apply for a DBL grant:

1. Potential applicants should first review the DBL Grant Policy(PDF) accessible on this website.  The policy defines qualifications, requirements, types of grants available, and the entire process.
2. If the organization meets the qualifications, an on-line Pre-Qualification Form (PDF) must be submitted by all applicants each year.
3. The deadline to submit a pre-qualification form is September 20th at 5:00 PM.
4. After the DBL Grant Allocations Chairman reviews the pre-qualification form, the organization will be contacted with instructions regarding how to access the Grant Application on-line.
5. Grant applications are only available via an individually assigned secure password and protected weblink.  The application must be submitted on-line with back-up materials/supporting documentation submitted in hard copy to the designated location.
6. Be sure to SAVE the application to a computer drive while it is being completed and for future reference.
7. The application is NOT available for alteration or additions once submitted.
8. All DBL Grant Policies must be followed as specified; and all requested information must be supplied.
9. The on-line application, together with ALL supporting documentation in hard copy, is due no later than September 30th at 5:00 PM.  

Grant Training Workshops will be available to aid applicants in the completion of applications.  New applicants are required to attend training prior to submission of their application.  All applicants are required to attend training every two years.  All applicants are welcome and encouraged to attend every year.
